# MouthX Initial Setup Guide

## Follow this step-by-step MouthX setup guide to learn how to place your device, pair it with your phone or tablet, understand charging and LED indicators, activate AssistiveTouch, and create your first mode.

Are you ready to take your first steps with MouthX?

In this video, we’ll show you:

- How to place your MouthX
- How to pair it with your mobile phone or tablet
- How to configure your first mode

You’ll also learn how device charging works, what the LED indicators mean, and how to activate AssistiveTouch, which is required if you use an iPhone or iPad.

*Before the first use, make sure to clean your MouthX with water.  
For your first device, remember it has to be either a **tablet or a smartphone**, not a computer.*
