Place MouthX with the controls facing down and seat it gently against your palate so it feels stable, centered, and comfortable from the first use.

To place MouthX correctly, focus on the right orientation and a secure fit against your palate so control feels stable and comfortable.

Main parts (to help you orient it):

  • Charging area: right side of the device
  • Tongue joystick: center
  • Molar joystick: left side

MouthX

MouthX placement steps

  1. Check the orientation.
Both joysticks should face downward, toward the floor.
  2. Insert MouthX gently.
Start by placing the molar joystick side on the left and the charging area on the right.
  3. Position it against your palate.
Seat the device gently so it rests in the correct position.
  4. Close your mouth softly.
Do not bite down hard. Adjust until the device feels stable and centred.
  5. Check the fit before using the controls.
MouthX should not move loosely during normal tongue or jaw movements.

During the first uses, small adjustments are normal while you get used to the feeling of the device.

Using a mirror the first time can help you check the orientation and confirm that MouthX is centred.
