How do I connect my computer or tablet to MouthX?

Step 1: connect your primary phone first

Before adding other devices, your primary phone — or your tablet, if you prefer — must already be connected to MouthX through the Aurax App. Remember that you cannot start the installation on a computer.

The primary phone or tablet is used to manage device settings, profiles, modes, connected devices, calibration or configuration changes.

Step 2: pair another device via Bluetooth

On the device you want to connect, such as another phone, a tablet, or a computer:

1. Open Settings.

2. Go to Bluetooth.

3. Make sure Bluetooth is enabled.

4. Look for MouthX in the list of available devices.

5. Select MouthX to pair it.

6. Confirm the pairing request if the device asks you to.

If you see more than one MouthX-related device

Make sure you're selecting MouthX, not the charging case.

The charging case is not the control device. Pairing it by mistake may prevent MouthX from working correctly with that device.

If MouthX does not appear

Check that:

• MouthX has battery

• MouthX is turned on

• MouthX is close to your mobile device

• Bluetooth is enabled on the device you want to connect

• MouthX is not already connected to another device that is blocking pairing

If needed, turn Bluetooth off and back on, then search for MouthX again.

After connecting the device

After connecting the device, open the Aurax App on your primary phone and configure the device type.

To do this:

1. Go to the connected devices section.

2. Select the three-dot menu for the new device.

3. Go to Settings.

4. Choose the correct device type:

   1. mobile phone

   2. tablet

   3. PC

5. Save the settings.

If the connected device is a Mac computer, leave the device type set as mobile phone for now.
