How long does the process take from scanning to delivery of the MouthX device?

MouthX is individually adapted for each user. The total timeline can vary depending on scan review, fit prototypes, production capacity, quality checks, and shipping conditions.

MouthX is individually adapted for each user, so the total process can vary from one case to another. The timeline depends on several steps, including scan review, fit prototypes, production, internal checks, and shipping.

The MouthX delivery process, from order placement to final delivery after the prototype validation.

Timelines can vary slightly depending on these factors, mostly:

Step 1: intraoral scan

After placing your order, you will receive instructions for completing your intraoral scan.

If your scanning provider is one of Aurax’s collaborating centres, they will already have the necessary information. Once the scan is completed, it is sent to Aurax for review.

Step 2: scan review

Each scan is reviewed to check whether it contains the information needed to adapt your MouthX. If the scan is incomplete, unclear, or does not contain the required information, we may ask for a new scan or additional details. This may extend the timeline.

Step 3: fit prototypes

Before producing your final MouthX, Aurax will send three fit prototypes to help check comfort, positioning, and general fit, among others.

  • You will be asked to share feedback about how the prototypes feel through a form.

  • This stage helps us adjust the final device before production.

  • If further adjustments are needed, additional fit checks may be required.

Step 4: final production

Once the fit process is complete and you have sent us your form, your MouthX enters final production. This stage may include:

  • final retouches according to your feedback
  • manufacturing
  • assembly
  • internal quality checks
  • final preparation for shipment

Step 5: shipping

After production is completed, your MouthX is shipped to you.

Delivery times may vary depending on your location, carrier availability, customs processing where applicable, and other logistics conditions.

What can affect the timeline of your MouthX delivery?

In summary, the total process may vary depending on:

  • how quickly the intraoral scan is completed and sent
  • whether the scan contains all required information
  • whether a new scan is needed
  • the validation of the prototype and filling of the form
  • current production demand
  • internal quality checks
  • shipping and logistics conditions

Because each MouthX is individually adapted, timelines may differ between users.

Aurax will keep you informed throughout the process and provide updates as your device moves through each stage.
