How will I know my intraoral scan has been received correctly?
Aurax will send you an email confirmation once your intraoral scan has been received. The scan will then be reviewed to check whether it contains the information needed to continue with your MouthX process.
Once your intraoral scan has been sent to Aurax, you will receive an email confirmation.
This email confirms that the scan has been received, but it does not necessarily mean that the scan has already been reviewed or accepted for the next stage.
What happens after Aurax receives your scan
After receiving your scan, Aurax will review it to check whether it contains the information needed to continue with your MouthX process.
During this review, we may check:
- whether the required areas are included
- whether the scan quality is clear enough
- whether the file format is correct
- whether the scan can be used to adapt your MouthX
- whether any additional information is needed
If the scan is correct
If the scan contains the information needed, Aurax will develop three prototypes for you to review. We will send you all the information by email.
If there is an issue with the scan
If the scan is incomplete, unclear, or does not contain the required information, Aurax will contact you by email. In that case, we will explain what happened and what needs to be done next.
This may include sending additional information, repeating the scan, or asking the scanning provider to review the file.
If you do not receive a confirmation email
If you do not receive a confirmation email after your scan has been sent, first check:
- your spam folder
- your promotions folder
- the email address used for your MouthX order
- whether the scanning provider has sent the scan correctly
If you still cannot find the confirmation, contact Aurax Support. When contacting us, include your full name, order email, and any information provided by the scanning provider.
